Seed Plants: Rock Stars of the Plant World
This is the third class in a four part Plant Studies series. Seed Plants continues the story of plants escaping an aquatic environment to life on land. We’ll pick up the story at 360ish million years ago where we left off with Mosses: The Humble Pioneers of the Journey onto Land and Ferns: Debutants of the Vascular Society.
Note: Attendance at the two previous classes, Mosses and Ferns, is NOT REQUIRED to attend the Seed Plants class.
The class will consist of a morning classroom presentation and an after lunch
Eco-Synthesis/Integration walk.

You will need to bring a drink, lunch/snack, and insect repellant. Also, wear appropriate footwear.
