About this event

Dr. Chuck Burke, PhD, RRT, RRT-NPS, will once again be teaching a basic 1st aid class to DLAMN members. Dr. Burke has 10+ years' experience as an American Heart Association instructor and over 40 years in medicine and respiratory therapy. He currently teaches basic lifesaving, ACLS, and PALS at National Park College. You will receive hands-on training that will cover the typical injuries that may occur on the trail. Dr. Burke will provide supplies that you can use to begin making your own 1st ais kit.
There is a limit to 15 students for this class. All fees will be paid by DLAMN. This class is open to both NITs and NATs and will count as 4 hours of NIT training or NAT continuing ed. Kepp track of and log your travel milage.
