You are cordially invited to join Larry Fliss and Robert Fuhler on a waterfall excursion to check out Glory Hole and several other waterfalls in the Upper Buffalo Watershed. After the solid rains, there should be significant flow for some exciting views!

Larry and I will host carpools and lead the drive (meet at Robert’s House at 0800). The drive to Glory is well north of Ozone and will take approximately 2 hours of drive time (approx. 80 miles); we should have time to visit a few other falls (Magnolia Falls complex) as well. All trails will most likely be slick and have varying levels of slope. Glory’s slope is gentle to moderate; a bit steep getting to the underside (we will send Fliss down first so he can be our bouncy pad). The Magnolia Falls Complex will be a bit more challenging and terminates in an area with 3 other falls (Woods Bros, Stahle and Hadlock Cascade) in the general area. Please wear appropriate clothing including shoes/boots with decent tread and bring at least 2 pairs of spare socks. A walking stick may be beneficial. Bring your own lunch (a cooler will be provided).
