NCAMN - trail work

Special Saturday trail maintenance event, Davids Trail Foundation invites you to another “first Saturday” trail maintenance gathering, lunch provided. Volunteers meet in town, then proceed to David’s Trail at the lake, and perform 3 hours of trail maintenance. Invite your friends. The Endowment hosts this event to meet individuals & groups interested in adopting one or two miles of the trail to keep clear for public enjoyment.
Volunteers will rendezvous 8:30 AM at the FSIS Raymond James office (across from Pizza Hut) … collect your catered lunch. No tools needed.

Plan is to spray paint blazes on trees along the trail, wear old clothes you may get a few drops of paint.

Ozarks Keystone Trail Endowment (formerly David’s Trail Foundation) is constructing & completing the 87-mile hiking trail at Norfork Lake from Norfork Dam to Dawt Mill. The 85 mile continuous trail is now half finished, and may be completed in 3-4 years. The trail is part of the 353-mile Ozark Highlands Trail, with local names David’s Trail, Ozarks Keystone Trail, and Norfork Trail … along the Norfork Lake shore.
