The first Naturalist in Training class on Saturday was labeled Insects but was more specific on a timely topic - Pollinators.  Dr. Steinkraus covered the range of pollinators, both insect and not.  The relationship between a plant and its preferred pollinator can be so tight that the lack of the one can spell the doom of the other.

That was followed by a class was sponsored by Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center, with a focus on photography of the variety of mushrooms in Arkansas.
